Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule truck drivers for pickups, deliveries, and routes, considering time constraints and customer requests.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, providing instructions and updates.
- Monitor truck locations using GPS, ensuring on-time arrivals and addressing delays promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to optimize delivery schedules and resolve logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation for dispatch activities, deliveries, and driver communications.
- Update and maintain databases with relevant information, including customer details and route changes.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Address driver concerns, troubleshoot issues, and provide necessary support for driver satisfaction and efficiency.
