Key Responsibilities

1. Stocking and Display:
   • Accurately label, price, and organize products on shelves for an appealing store appearance.
   • Ensure shelves are well-stocked to meet customer needs.
2. Customer Assistance:
   • Assist customers in locating items and provide detailed product information.
   • Foster a positive shopping experience through exceptional customer service.
3. Merchandise Handling:
   • Receive, unload, and organize merchandise deliveries.
   • Report any discrepancies in shipments to management promptly.
4. Cash Handling and Operations:
   • Operate cash registers, process payments, and efficiently bag groceries for customers.
   • Maintain cleanliness in checkout areas and follow safety standards.
5. Product Rotation and Inventory Management:
   • Monitor and rotate product expiration dates.
   • Conduct periodic stock checks and report inventory levels and shortages to management.
6. Collaboration and Flexibility:
   • Collaborate with team members.
   • Assist in various duties as needed to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

1. Experience:
   • Previous retail or grocery store experience preferred but not required; training provided.
2. Skills:
   • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
   • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Adaptability:
   • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
   • Physical stamina for lifting and carrying moderate to heavy items, and standing for extended periods.
4. Flexibility:
   • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
