Eligibility Requirements For Central Queensland University Scholarship

For the Science International Scholarship:

• International Student Status: Qualify as an international student in Australia.
• Document Submission: Submit all necessary documentation to meet the conditions of an offer from UQ for an approved program by the scholarship application deadline.
• Academic Excellence: Showcase a strong academic track record as part of your UQ program application.
• Faculty of Science Program: Enroll in a program administered by the UQ Faculty of Science, with a duration exceeding one year on a full-time basis.
• First Semester Enrollment: Be ready to begin your academic journey in your first semester of study at UQ.
• Program Changes: Note that switching programs if currently enrolled at UQ may make you ineligible for these scholarships.
• Program Types: Students enrolling in non-award, Study Abroad, or Exchange programs do not meet the eligibility criteria.
• Dedication to Studies: Scholarship recipients should start their studies in the semester specified in the UQ offer letter, work diligently to successfully complete their program, and be open to providing testimonials and suitable photos for publication.

For the UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship:

• Academic Excellence: Attain a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or an equivalent qualification).
• Year 12 Completion: Completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2022 (if on a gap year).
• Citizenship/Residency Status: Australian citizen or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder, Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or an international student who completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.
• Tertiary Studies: No previous tertiary studies, except as part of Year 11-12 studies.
• Tertiary Place Application: Applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and listed UQ as the first preference in QTAC as of December 18, 2023.
• Full-Time Enrollment: Intention to enroll as a full-time student in a UQ undergraduate program in 2024 (or 2025 if deferring the tertiary place).

How To Apply For Central Queensland University Scholarship

For the Science International Scholarship:

• Start your application for an official UQ undergraduate or postgraduate program through The University of Queensland’s application portal.
• Once you receive your UQ Student ID Number and an offer of admission, fill out the online Science International Scholarship application form on the official university website.
• Submit your scholarship application by 5 pm (AEST) on the scholarship closing date.
