Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Meat Cutter or similar role in a food processing environment.
- Proficiency in using meat processing tools, including knives, saws, and grinders.
- Understanding of meat cuts, portioning, and preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Physical stamina for a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in meat cutting and portioning.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Tasks
- Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses into primal cuts for further processing or packaging.
- Remove feathers, singe, and wash poultry for further processing or packaging.
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use.
- Remove bones from meat.
