- Provides hands on passenger support during transport for special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to from school, college or day cafe centres
- Work in an effect, safe and flexible Manner, supporting the operation of the company
- Ensuring Passenger Safety:
- Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely.
- Ensure that passengers are seated securely during transit.
- Use safety equipment, such as seat belts or mobility aids, as required.
- Supporting Special Needs Passengers:
- Provide additional assistance to passengers with special needs or disabilities.
- Familiarize oneself with the specific requirements of each passenger and address them accordingly.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Maintain clear communication with passengers to address any concerns or needs.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the transportation environment.
- Monitoring Passenger Behavior:
- Monitor passenger behavior during the journey and address any disruptive actions appropriately.
- Report incidents or issues to the transportation coordinator or appropriate authorities.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Be prepared to handle emergency situations, including evacuation procedures if necessary.
- Ensure familiarity with emergency equipment and protocols.
- Time Management:
- Adhere to the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times for passengers.
- Communicate any delays or changes to the transportation coordinator or relevant parties.
- Maintaining Vehicle Cleanliness:
- Keep the transportation vehicle clean and orderly.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of passengers, including attendance and any incidents.
- Complete required documentation, such as incident reports or daily logs.
- Collaboration with Drivers:
- Coordinate with the driver to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process.
- Communicate any relevant information to the driver that may impact the journey.
- Training and Professional Development:
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on safety protocols, passenger assistance techniques, and any relevant regulations.
- Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills in supporting diverse passenger needs
