Key Responsibility

  • Equipment Maintenance: Use and maintain cutting tools, report issues promptly, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Weighing and Packaging: Accurately weigh and package products, monitor expiration dates, and ensure compliance with labeling and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with butchers, managers, and customer service for smooth department operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Retail Meat Cutter or similar role.
  • Knowledge of meat cuts and cutting techniques.
  • Attention to detail in meat preparation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and measuring.
