Key Responsibility
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Efficiently check guests in and out, and accurately process reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Manage room assignments, ensure accurate billing, and process payments using the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
- Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area, including handling mail, messages, and packages.
- Assist in coordinating with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest needs and room-related issues.
- Keep accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and room inventory in the PMS.
- Assist in managing reservations, room blocks, and special requests for groups or events.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software or property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
