Tasks
- Review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures.
- Delegate work to office support staff, establish priorities, and ensure procedures and deadlines are met.
- Administer policies related to records release under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Coordinate office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
- Train staff.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures.
- Perform data entry.
Experience and Specialization
The ideal candidate should have expertise in computer and technology, with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Project. Prior experience and specialization in relevant areas are valued.
